Focusing on wood already for over 100 years

HASA produces high-quality sawn timber for general industry, demanding structures, the packaging industry and for road and bridge construction needs. The company has operations on three different locations: sawmill and small log line at Haapajärvi, sawmills at Eskola and Haapavesi

Sawn timber raw-material comes from PEFC-certified forests in the surrounding area. Optimizing the right raw-material into a certain product is a guarantee of our quality. Haapajärvi’s central location and proximity to highways and ports supports sawmill operations.

Sawn Timber

HASA produces high-quality pine and spruce timber for a wide range of applications. Carefully planned production and the delivery process ensures that the customer receives their goods on time. HASA is a big enough to be able to serve operators in the industry but small enough to serve customers of all sizes flexibly. At HASA, we value our customers and want to set up long-term co-operations.

Production

HASA’s annual capacity is
450 000 m3of spruce and pine sawn timber. State-of-the-art sawing technology, continuous quality control and automatic camera grading ensures the quality of HASA’s goods. The company has recently invested in a new TC channel dryer, which has minimized the carbon footprint and improved energy efficiency.

Environment

HASA takes environmental values into account in all its activities, from sourcing wood to delivering the final product. Logs come from sustainably managed PEFC-certified forests. As a guarantee of this, HASA has been awarded the Chain of Custody certificates (PEFC and FSC CW).
