Reduce your ocean freight carbon footprint with DHL! We offer carbon-reduction option to full-container-load shipments: fossil fuel will be replaced 1:1 with sustainable biofuel. We neutralize the CO2 emissions by funding the corresponding amount of biofuel to be used on container vessels; truly sustainable marine biofuel meeting the criteria of sustainable production.

With its “Mission 2050” to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, DHL Group strives for clean operations for climate protection. We have set ourselves the target of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in line with the Paris Agreement through the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and will be investing 7 billion Euros to reach it.
